Hello there! My apologies for not posting this earlier, but I had an exam on Monday and my stress level was waaay too high so I couldn’t find the time to get this post up last week. I haven’t been using a lot of makeup products lately because I’ve mostly been sitting/studying at home, but I do have a few things I particularly enjoyed last month and I would like share them with you today!
Victoria’s Secret fragrance mist – Coconut Passion: Since the weather has been really good over here, I decided to take out my body mists again. I always like to spray some kind of fragrance on my arms and legs during Spring and Summer and even though I have quite a few body mists, I have been enjoying this one by Victoria’s Secret a lot lately! It smells like coconut and vanilla, which for some reason brings me right back to last year’s warm Summer nights (oh how I wish my exams were already over).
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation – 128: The first foundation that I used during the second half of May is the (classic) Matte & Poreless by Maybelline. From all of my foundations this one seems to match me the best, if not perfectly! I doesn’t last that long on my face, but on my oily skin nothing seems to last anyway so I don’t mind that too much.
Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation – 54 Beige (*): This is the foundation that I used during the first half of May. It has a slightly dewy finish and medium coverage, so I like to use this one on days that I fancy a more natural makeup look. It’s one of my all time favorites that I keep returning to when the weather gets warmer!
Essence Smoothie Gloss – Sweet Peach: If you’re looking for a non-sticky, nice smelling lipgloss, I would suggest these ones by Essence! They only cost € 0.99 and they come in five different shades/smells: mango, peach, raspberry, strawberry and blackberry. I’m obsessed with the smell of peaches, so I went for that one but I think I might go and pick up the strawberry one as well!
Catrice Ultimate Colour lipstick – 020 Maroon: Catrice is also an affordable brand, but for some reason I never really tried their products. I picked up this lipstick a few weeks ago and instantly fell in love with it! It’s a very moisturizing, slightly shiny dark pink-ish lipstick which is also very easy to apply and re-apply. This one gets a big yes from me!
Swatches
That’s it! Now I will return to my books and pretend I didn’t spend some of my study time on writing this blog post (oops!). I hope you have/had a great day and I’ll be back next week with a new blog post!
What were your favorites of May? Let me know in the comments!
xoxo
